Hearts & Flowers

I've worked this design as both a sampler and a hanging wall pocket.  (The photo of the sampler is lost in my computer somewhere!  As soon as I find it, I'll put it back!)  The sampler verse reads:  When in love I do commence, may it be with a man of sense.  Both pieces were worked on 32 count Meadow Lark from Birds of a Feather using DMC floss.  The stitch count for the sampler is 126 wide by 87 high and the frame is from Hog River.  $9.00

The Old Fruit Tree

This design is worked on 40 Count Antique Cotton from R&R Reproductions.  It would make a great wedding sampler!  Lots of lazy daisy stitches are used in the border and in the ground portion.  The stitch count is 111 wide by 120 high and the frame is from Primitive Traditions.  $9.00

Girls Night Out

This kit is from the Remember the Ladies series from Kreinik.  I designed the sampler, and they took it from there!  The kit contains all the silk needed to complete the design.  I have a couple of these kits available if they aren't in your local needlework shop.  $15.00

Good Ships

The model was worked on 40-Count Meadow Rue from Lakeside Linens using Soie D'Alger in the following colors:  Noir, 4141, 3412, 524, 4132, 2626, 2136, 4641, 1716, 2235, 3836, 4131, 3411.  A conversion to DMC and Needlepoint Silk is provided.  Special thanks to Carol Sims for stitching the model!  The frame is available from Olde Colonial Designs (PR030).

Spring

Charity Watral stitched our model on 36-Count Meadowlark from Birds of a Feather using two strands of Soie D'Alger in the following colors:  Noir, 2624, 4113, 2521, 4143, 4526, 2244, 616.  A conversion to DMC and to Needlepoint Silk is provided.  The stitch count is 96 wide by 80 high.  The frame is available from East Side Mouldings (FDFS - 5 1/2 x 6 1/2).

Bedtime Prayer Sampler

This is one of the very first samplers I designed about six or seven years ago!  I found it on a floppy disc of files I had saved and decided to try to make it work.  The verse reads:  I lay my body down to sleep let angels watch my head and through the hours of darkness keep their watch around my bed.  Our model is worked on 36-Count Meadow Lark from Birds of a Feather and uses Soie D'Aleger in 523, 525, 526, 1716, 2626, 3411, 3836.  The stitch count is 142 by 106.
